# size? vs Alpha Industries

The clearest difference is rating: size? at 4.8 against Alpha Industries's 2.4. size? also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 17). Alpha Industries's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (70% vs 48%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

size? holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: size? has 1.1K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of size?'s written reviews are positive against 70% of Alpha Industries's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

size? ships an update every 3 months, Alpha Industries every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
