# SkyJournal vs Quick Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Journal at every 9 days against SkyJournal's every 2 months. Quick Journal also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 67%). SkyJournal's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (9.1 vs 17.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SkyJournal holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 24 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of SkyJournal's written reviews are positive against 86% of Quick Journal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SkyJournal ships an update every 2 months, Quick Journal every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
