# Game Gallery vs Anime Wallpapers

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Game Gallery at none against Anime Wallpapers's 2. Game Gallery also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 31 months) and ratings volume (918 vs 84). Anime Wallpapers's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anime Wallpapers sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Game Gallery asks for nothing beyond the download.

Anime Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Game Gallery has 918 ratings behind it against 84, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Game Gallery's written reviews are positive against 80% of Anime Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Game Gallery ships an update every 5 weeks, Anime Wallpapers every 31 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
