# Sun Valley Resort vs Pingea

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pingea at 100% against Sun Valley Resort's 30%. Pingea also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Sun Valley Resort's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 7) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sun Valley Resort holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sun Valley Resort has 3.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Sun Valley Resort's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pingea's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sun Valley Resort ships an update every 6 months, Pingea every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
