# Suru vs Rock

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rock at none against Suru's 14. Suru's advantage is ratings volume (526 vs 128). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Suru sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Rock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rock holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 526 and 128 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Suru's written reviews are positive against 86% of Rock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Suru ships an update fortnightly, Rock monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
