# hh2 Time Tracking vs EarthCam

hh2 Time Tracking and EarthCam both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 84% of EarthCam's written reviews are positive against 25% of hh2 Time Tracking's. EarthCam also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). hh2 Time Tracking's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 119). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

hh2 Time Tracking holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: hh2 Time Tracking has 2.1K ratings behind it against 119, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of hh2 Time Tracking's written reviews are positive against 84% of EarthCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

hh2 Time Tracking ships an update every 3 weeks, EarthCam weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
