# Backgammon Live™ Board Game vs Gingerbread Gambit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gingerbread Gambit at 100% against Backgammon Live™ Board Game's 44%. Gingerbread Gambit also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). Backgammon Live™ Board Game's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (62K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backgammon Live™ Board Game sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Gingerbread Gambit sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Backgammon Live™ Board Game holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backgammon Live™ Board Game has 62K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Backgammon Live™ Board Game's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gingerbread Gambit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Backgammon Live™ Board Game ships an update monthly, Gingerbread Gambit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
