# Votee vs methinks

The clearest difference is rating: methinks at 4.0 against Votee's 2.3. methinks also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). Votee's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (62% vs 48%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

methinks holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: methinks has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Votee's written reviews are positive against 48% of methinks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Votee ships an update every 2 weeks, methinks every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
