# MyU vs Baims

The clearest difference is ads: Baims at none against MyU's shown. Baims also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 67%). MyU's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 2K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Baims sells 41 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for MyU against 4.5 for Baims. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyU has 23K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of MyU's written reviews are positive against 87% of Baims's.

MyU ships an update every 8 days, Baims every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
