# MyU vs Amani

The clearest difference is ads: Amani at none against MyU's shown. Amani also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 67%). MyU's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 108) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Amani sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyU holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyU has 23K ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of MyU's written reviews are positive against 77% of Amani's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyU ships an update every 8 days, Amani weekly. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
