# MyU vs My GPA

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: My GPA at none against MyU's 7. My GPA also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (95% vs 67%). MyU's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (23K vs 88). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. My GPA asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for MyU against 4.6 for My GPA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyU has 23K ratings behind it against 88, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of MyU's written reviews are positive against 95% of My GPA's.

MyU ships an update fortnightly, My GPA every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
