# iTV Shows vs AGII

The clearest difference is rating: AGII at 5.0 against iTV Shows's 4.6. AGII also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). iTV Shows's advantage is ratings volume (192 vs 2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTV Shows sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 2 months and AGII sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AGII holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTV Shows has 192 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iTV Shows ships an update every 10 days, AGII monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
