# CropSize vs Video

The clearest difference is update cadence: CropSize at fortnightly against Video's every 3 months. CropSize also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (413 vs 6). Video's advantage is price ($3.99 vs $4.99) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

CropSize costs $4.99 and Video $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CropSize holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CropSize has 413 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of CropSize's written reviews are positive against 80% of Video's.

CropSize ships an update fortnightly, Video every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
