# Zee 5 vs SkillBox

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SkillBox at 73% against Zee 5's 15%. SkillBox also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 22) and ads (none vs shown). Zee 5's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (24K vs 3). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zee 5 sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. SkillBox asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zee 5 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zee 5 has 24K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Zee 5's written reviews are positive against 73% of SkillBox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zee 5 ships an update every 5 days, SkillBox every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
