# Navionics® Boating vs BRP GO!

The clearest difference is rating: BRP GO! at 4.2 against Navionics® Boating's 2.9. Navionics® Boating's advantage is chart position (#6 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Navionics® Boating sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per year and BRP GO! sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BRP GO! holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.4K and 3.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Navionics® Boating's written reviews are positive against 15% of BRP GO!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Navionics® Boating ships an update every 6 weeks, BRP GO! every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
