# Weather Live° vs Weather App +

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Weather App + at none against Weather Live°'s 10. Weather App + also leads on ads (none vs shown). Weather Live°'s advantage is ratings volume (401K vs 30) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weather Live° sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Weather App + asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Weather Live° against 4.7 for Weather App +. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather Live° has 401K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Weather Live° ships an update every 3 weeks, Weather App + every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
