# Cricut Design Space vs Vector & SVG Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vector & SVG Maker at 49% against Cricut Design Space's 16%. Vector & SVG Maker also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). Cricut Design Space's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (746K vs 11K). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cricut Design Space sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Vector & SVG Maker sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cricut Design Space holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cricut Design Space has 746K ratings behind it against 11K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Cricut Design Space's written reviews are positive against 49% of Vector & SVG Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cricut Design Space ships an update weekly, Vector & SVG Maker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
