# Global VPN vs Go Plus VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Global VPN at 70% against Go Plus VPN's 20%. Global VPN also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (119 vs 6). Go Plus VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Global VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Go Plus VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Global VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Global VPN has 119 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Global VPN's written reviews are positive against 20% of Go Plus VPN's.

Global VPN ships an update every 8 months, Go Plus VPN every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
