# DRIVE2 vs IT Phone

The clearest difference is rating: DRIVE2 at 4.8 against IT Phone's 3.4. DRIVE2 also leads on ratings volume (516 vs 10) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). IT Phone's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (36% vs 28%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DRIVE2 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. IT Phone asks for nothing beyond the download.

DRIVE2 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DRIVE2 has 516 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of DRIVE2's written reviews are positive against 36% of IT Phone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DRIVE2 ships an update fortnightly, IT Phone every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
