# DRIVE2 vs WB Chat

The clearest difference is rating: DRIVE2 at 4.8 against WB Chat's 4.0. DRIVE2 also leads on ratings volume (510 vs 56) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). WB Chat's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (62% vs 28%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DRIVE2 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. WB Chat asks for nothing beyond the download.

DRIVE2 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DRIVE2 has 510 ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of DRIVE2's written reviews are positive against 62% of WB Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DRIVE2 ships an update fortnightly, WB Chat every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
