# Spond vs Heja

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Spond at none against Heja's 14. Spond also leads on ads (none vs shown). Heja's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 61%) and ratings volume (24K vs 3.6K). On price, rating, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Heja sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Spond asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Spond against 4.8 for Heja. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heja has 24K ratings behind it against 3.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of Spond's written reviews are positive against 84% of Heja's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
