# Chords Maestro vs TextMusic

The clearest difference is rating: Chords Maestro at 5.0 against TextMusic's 4.1. TextMusic's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 55%) and price ($4.99 vs $8.99). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Chords Maestro costs $8.99 and TextMusic $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chords Maestro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TextMusic has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Chords Maestro's written reviews are positive against 73% of TextMusic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
