# 测测 vs LockNote

The clearest difference is rating: LockNote at 4.8 against 测测's 4.2. LockNote also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). 测测's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (360 vs 13). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 测测 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LockNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockNote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 测测 has 360 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of 测测's written reviews are positive against 67% of LockNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

测测 ships an update weekly, LockNote monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
