# 测测 vs LockNote

The clearest difference is monetization model: LockNote at free against 测测's free with in-app purchases. 测测's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#37 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 测测 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LockNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

测测 ships an update weekly, LockNote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
