# 测测 vs NIIM

The clearest difference is rating: NIIM at 4.8 against 测测's 4.2. NIIM also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 361). 测测's advantage is review sentiment (76% vs 48%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 测测 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and NIIM sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NIIM holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NIIM has 1.9K ratings behind it against 361, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of 测测's written reviews are positive against 48% of NIIM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

测测 ships an update weekly, NIIM every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
