# Microsoft 365 Admin vs SMART InkScan

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Microsoft 365 Admin at none against SMART InkScan's 4. Microsoft 365 Admin also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 5). SMART InkScan's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (10.3 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMART InkScan sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Microsoft 365 Admin asks for nothing beyond the download.

Microsoft 365 Admin holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft 365 Admin has 5.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Microsoft 365 Admin's written reviews are positive against 100% of SMART InkScan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
