# Microsoft 365 Admin vs Firestop Locator

The clearest difference is rating: Microsoft 365 Admin at 4.6 against Firestop Locator's 4.2. Microsoft 365 Admin also leads on ratings volume (5.8K vs 5). Firestop Locator's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Microsoft 365 Admin holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft 365 Admin has 5.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Microsoft 365 Admin's written reviews are positive against 100% of Firestop Locator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
