# MyDST vs MuslimSG

The clearest difference is rating: MuslimSG at 4.9 against MyDST's 4.3. MuslimSG also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 28%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MyDST's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 25) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MuslimSG holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDST has 2K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of MyDST's written reviews are positive against 68% of MuslimSG's.

MyDST ships an update every 3 weeks, MuslimSG every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
