# MyDST vs Popular MY

The clearest difference is rating: MyDST at 4.3 against Popular MY's 3.5. MyDST also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2K vs 4). Popular MY's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyDST holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDST has 2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of MyDST's written reviews are positive against 10% of Popular MY's.

MyDST ships an update every 3 weeks, Popular MY every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
