# MyDST vs Shark Fit

The clearest difference is rating: MyDST at 4.3 against Shark Fit's 2.8. MyDST also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 5). Shark Fit's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyDST holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDST has 2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyDST ships an update every 3 weeks, Shark Fit every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
