# NBC Mobile vs GBSC

The clearest difference is update cadence: GBSC at every 3 months against NBC Mobile's every 25 months. GBSC also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). NBC Mobile's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GBSC holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GBSC has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NBC Mobile ships an update every 25 months, GBSC every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
