# Position Weather Tools vs Thermo

The clearest difference is rating: Thermo at 4.6 against Position Weather Tools's 3.8. Thermo also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 53%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Position Weather Tools's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Position Weather Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Thermo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.09 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
