# Gait vs Pacely Step

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gait at every 6 days against Pacely Step's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gait sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pacely Step sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gait ships an update every 6 days, Pacely Step every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
