# Jカレンダー vs 40SEC

The clearest difference is ads: 40SEC at none against Jカレンダー's shown. 40SEC also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jカレンダー sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 40SEC sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jカレンダー ships an update monthly, 40SEC weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
