# Mouse for Cats vs Cats Play

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cats Play at none against Mouse for Cats's 1. Cats Play also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). Mouse for Cats's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (958 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mouse for Cats sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cats Play asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mouse for Cats holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mouse for Cats has 958 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Mouse for Cats's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cats Play's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
