# Mail1Click vs black.com

The clearest difference is rating: Mail1Click at 5.0 against black.com's 3.6. Mail1Click also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 16.4). black.com's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mail1Click sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and black.com sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mail1Click holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: black.com has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
