# Mail1Click vs Preside email

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Preside email at 185 against Mail1Click's 1. Mail1Click's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mail1Click sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Preside email sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mail1Click holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preside email has 185 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mail1Click ships an update every 6 weeks, Preside email every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
