# Fragment vs Crystallic

The clearest difference is price: Crystallic at Free against Fragment's $4.99. Crystallic also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). Fragment's advantage is ratings volume (389 vs 3). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Crystallic is free to download; Fragment costs $4.99 up front. Fragment sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Crystallic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Fragment against 4.7 for Crystallic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fragment has 389 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fragment ships an update every 6 weeks, Crystallic every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
