# Voice Synth Modular vs EZ Composer App

The clearest difference is rating: Voice Synth Modular at 4.2 against EZ Composer App's 3.2. Voice Synth Modular also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months). EZ Composer App's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 41%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice Synth Modular sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and EZ Composer App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Voice Synth Modular holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Synth Modular has 3K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Voice Synth Modular's written reviews are positive against 50% of EZ Composer App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Voice Synth Modular ships an update monthly, EZ Composer App every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
