# Fliptastic vs imgSlides

The clearest difference is ads: Fliptastic at none against imgSlides's shown. Fliptastic also leads on review sentiment (58% vs 38%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fliptastic sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and imgSlides sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Fliptastic against 4.7 for imgSlides. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fliptastic has 573 ratings behind it against 79, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Fliptastic's written reviews are positive against 38% of imgSlides's.

Fliptastic ships an update every 2 months, imgSlides every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
