# Fliptastic vs Slide X ● Slideshow Creator

The clearest difference is rating: Fliptastic at 4.6 against Slide X ● Slideshow Creator's 4.1. Fliptastic also leads on ratings volume (572 vs 18). Slide X ● Slideshow Creator's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fliptastic sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Slide X ● Slideshow Creator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fliptastic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fliptastic has 572 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Fliptastic's written reviews are positive against 59% of Slide X ● Slideshow Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fliptastic ships an update every 2 months, Slide X ● Slideshow Creator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
