# mRAK vs Al

The clearest difference is rating: Al at 5.0 against mRAK's 2.7. mRAK's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (33 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Al holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mRAK has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of mRAK's written reviews are positive against 0% of Al's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mRAK ships an update monthly, Al every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
