# OmTrak vs HammerTech Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: OmTrak at 5.0 against HammerTech Mobile's 3.6. HammerTech Mobile's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (19 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OmTrak holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HammerTech Mobile has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of OmTrak's written reviews are positive against 42% of HammerTech Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OmTrak ships an update every 4 weeks, HammerTech Mobile every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
