# ACATW vs Translator Keyboard

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ACATW at none against Translator Keyboard's 10. ACATW also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.6). Translator Keyboard's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (21K vs 50). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Translator Keyboard sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. ACATW asks for nothing beyond the download.

Translator Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Translator Keyboard has 21K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of ACATW's written reviews are positive against 64% of Translator Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ACATW ships an update every 2 months, Translator Keyboard fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
