# 宜搜小说 vs 有书趣

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 有书趣 at none against 宜搜小说's 11. 有书趣 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). 宜搜小说's advantage is ratings volume (266 vs 35) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 宜搜小说 sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. 有书趣 asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for 宜搜小说 against 4.5 for 有书趣. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 宜搜小说 has 266 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of 宜搜小说's written reviews are positive against 75% of 有书趣's.
