# 宜搜小说 vs 凯叔讲故事

The clearest difference is ads: 凯叔讲故事 at none against 宜搜小说's shown. 凯叔讲故事 also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 266). 宜搜小说's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 宜搜小说 sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 凯叔讲故事 sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

凯叔讲故事 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 凯叔讲故事 has 1.7K ratings behind it against 266, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of 宜搜小说's written reviews are positive against 76% of 凯叔讲故事's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

宜搜小说 ships an update every 6 weeks, 凯叔讲故事 every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
