# Tattoo Release Forms vs Tattoospot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tattoospot at 88% against Tattoo Release Forms's 33%. Tattoospot also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and device support (3 vs 1). Tattoo Release Forms's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (461 vs 14). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tattoo Release Forms sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Tattoospot sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tattoo Release Forms holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tattoo Release Forms has 461 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Tattoo Release Forms's written reviews are positive against 88% of Tattoospot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tattoo Release Forms ships an update fortnightly, Tattoospot every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
