# TVSapp vs Chatflix

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TVSapp at none against Chatflix's 2. TVSapp also leads on ratings volume (55 vs 2) and review sentiment (63% vs 50%). Chatflix's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chatflix sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. TVSapp asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chatflix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TVSapp has 55 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of TVSapp's written reviews are positive against 50% of Chatflix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TVSapp ships an update monthly, Chatflix fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
