# Inflyte vs Defected

The clearest difference is rating: Defected at 5.0 against Inflyte's 3.6. Defected also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.1). Inflyte's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 33%) and ratings volume (7 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Defected holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Inflyte's written reviews are positive against 33% of Defected's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Inflyte ships an update every 5 months, Defected every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
