# IPmotion vs IPCamPlus

The clearest difference is rating: IPmotion at 3.0 against IPCamPlus's 1.0. IPCamPlus's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IPmotion holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of IPmotion's written reviews are positive against 33% of IPCamPlus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPmotion ships an update every 6 weeks, IPCamPlus weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
